Mission and History
RDA Producing is committed to creating spaces and access for underserved communities, programming entertainment that provokes discussion, and fostering new work development. Founded in 2020 by Ryan Duncan-Ayala, RDA is currently producing exclusively in a digital format but hopes to change that soon pandemic-permitting. Above everything we are dedicated to opening the door for emerging voices that tell diverse (..actually diverse) and bold stories.
Current and Upcoming
Love in Lockdown is a brand new virtual dating reality show that allows contestants an opportunity at finding true love in front of a live audience! A co-production between RDA Producing and Lime Arts Productions, two Latino-led organizations, Love in Lockdown aims to bring love that looks like the world we live in to the forefront of our media. We have committed to having at least 60% BIPOC representation every season.
This pilot season will follow bachelor Antoine Johnson Jr. as he goes on dates with ten women from around the country in hopes to find true love. Each week, the contestant pool will be cut in half as Antoine selects women to move forward based on his compatibility and connection with them. But it doesn’t stop there! The unseen live audience will have the opportunity to anonymously weigh in and allow for a contestant to make a second (or third) impression. The season culminates as Antoine chooses his potential soul-mate to go on an hour-long final date. This last live date will close with the couple-to-be deciding whether they want to continue their relationship after the cameras stop rolling.
The show premieres on Sunday, August 23rd at 9PM EST/6PM PST and is available to watch for one week after airing. Tickets can be purchased individually for $3 or as a season pass for $10.

RDA Producing is proud to present a series of new plays by emerging playwrights. This series is intended to provide a space where playwrights have complete control over their creative process and have the ability to showcase whatever they want to a live audience, if anything.
